The BEST Salsa recipe

If you know me personally you know that chips and salsa are my jam! I'm not sure if it's because my mom loves it so much, or the fact that I grew up in Southern Utah where Mexican food is abundant.  But seriously I could eat it everyday.  And I pretty much do!  Although I haven't found a Mexican restaurant in the bay that I'm obsessed with. :/ So any recommendations are welcome! I pretty much stick to the chains where I know what to expect. I'm not afraid to say chips and salsa with queso at Chili's hits the spot. Ha!  Maybe it's the thin, salty perfectly crisp chips I'm addicted to? Or maybe it's because most places bring you chips and salsa for free ninety-nine?! All I know is I always enjoy the appetizer at Mexican restaurants more than the entree.  So if you're like me and crave a good salsa I have the BEST recipe to try! I doubled the recipe for our Friendsgiving and it was a huge hit! It would make a great addition to your Thanksgiving appetizer table.  Hope you like it as much as we did!

Super Yummy Salsa!

3 cups chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 cup onion, diced

1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

4 teaspoons chopped fresh jalapeno pepper (including seeds)

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Stir all ingredients together. Refrigerate.  Best to let marinate overnight.  But several hours will suffice, if you can't wait to dig in!  Serve chilled.
